Soundboard Studios is a music instruction studio for the classical guitar. The studio is the sole proprietorship of the owner and instructor, Ron Sharpe, who has dedicated himself to music education on this instrument. Founded in May 1996 on the principle of providing the very best service to the customer, this home-based school is recognized as "the place" to study classical guitar in the Fayetteville and Fort Bragg area. Beyond his personal philosophy of providing the very best to his students, Ron has rooted his instruction on the guitar in the Suzuki philosophy and tradition. As such children are the primary focus at Soundboard Studios and makeup 90% of the students. This tradition directly involves a coaching parent, usually the mother, in the musical development of the child. Within this framework of a child who wants to learn the guitar, a parent who makes a conscious commitment to that end, and a knowledgeable teacher specifically trained in the education of young children gratifying results abound. For all involved, this is truly an exciting experience.
